Cycle paths

Loire by Bike:

Over 900 km, the Loire à Vélo route connects Cuffy (near Nevers) to Saint-Brévin-les-Pins. In addition to the riverbanks, this route takes you along roads through vineyards and picturesque villages. It passes near Vouvray, on the south bank.

You can reach it by crossing the Loire to reach Montlouis-sur-Loire or Ville-aux-Dames, less than 3 km from the house.

Scandibérique :

The longest cycle route (Eurovélo 3) in France connects Trondheim (Norway) to Cape Fisterra (Spain) via Santiago de Compostela. It follows a section of the Loire à Vélo cycle route, between Tours and Briare.

Santiago by Bike :

The "Route de Tours" is the longest—380 km—but also the busiest of the pilgrim routes, thanks to its low elevation gain. It crosses the Centre-Val de Loire region from Rambouillet to Châtellerault, passing through Chartres and Tours.

The Château-Renault/Tours section passes through Vouvray.
